E3 Spark Plugs welcomes you to our racing events website. We have teamed with Lucas Oil as major sponsor for the 2008 Pro Pulling League, the 2008 Late Model Dirt Series, the 2008 World Series of Off-Road Racing and the IHBA Drag Boat Racing Series.
“E3 is an excellent addition to Team Lucas,” says Lucas Oil president, Bob Patison, “E3 is a quality company with a quality performance product. We’re excited about our 2008 race season and the opportunity to build greater brand awareness for all nine companies that compose Team Lucas.”
Lucas has long been directly involved in the American racing industry through multiple vehicle sponsorships and racing event promotions. E3 Spark Plugs joins the ranks of K&N Engineering, General Tire, Dixie Chopper, Torco Racing Fuels, R&L Carriers, Super Clean, Jim Beam Distillery, and Fatheadz Eyewear as a three year sponsor of over 400 grassroots racing events in 2008. As a member of Team Lucas, E3 Spark Plugs will be an official sponsor of the Lucas Oil Speedway, the Lucas Oil Ranch and the Lucas Oil Stadium.
“We are especially pleased to be a part of such an exciting array of series in support of grassroots motorsports across the U.S,” says E3 president, Todd Arey, “The same initiative and creativity that sparks the drive to race is found at E3. Our commitment to innovation is equally strong and representative in our line of high performance, environmentally friendly spark plugs.”
Given the short interval for combustion, the faster you can get the flame to the piston, the better. Some competitive spark plug designs actually get in the way of the flame kernel as it travels to the combustion area. The E3 DiamondFire design is open at the end, so the spark travels directly toward the fuel/air mixture which maximizes the burn. The result is a faster flame kernel, a more complete combustion, greater power and higher fuel efficiency. Seven years of testing has shown that an edge-to-edge spark significantly improves on antiquated flat-to-flat spark plug designs.
The patented DiamondFire design improves upon the phenomena that drove racers to cut back ordinary electrode spark plugs in order to improve the spark discharge.
So, “Feel the Burn” of E3’s DiamondFire technology and leave the competition in the dust.
